Supreme Court Appears Likely to Uphold Racial-Preference Bans

The U.S. Supreme Court appeared Tuesday to be leaning toward upholding state prohibitions on race-conscious admissions at public colleges as the justices heard arguments in a lawsuit challenging a ban passed by voters in Michigan. NADOHE Awards Nominations
Be on the lookout for the NADOHE Inclusive Excellence Awards Call for Nominations which will be issued on November 1, 2013. Consider nominating yourself or a colleague. Recipients will be recognized during NADOHE's 2014 Annual Conference in San Diego, CA, on March 11, 2014.

NADOHE Board of Directors Nominations
Nominate yourself or a colleague to serve on the NADOHE Board of Directors. The call will be issued mid-November, nominations will close in December, and then institutional members will have an opportunity to vote late December/early January. Those elected will be announced before the end of January and installed during NADOHE's 2014 Annual Conference, Membership Meeting, in San Diego, CA, on March 11, 2014.

Membership Dues Renewal notices will be sent electronically to all members the first week in November. New members joining in 2013 will have their dues pro-rated for the 2014 membership year.
