Norma Rodriguez, Ph.D., is Director in the Office for Faculty Advancement at the University of Washington and Director of the Greater Washington State Higher Education Recruitment Consortium (GWS HERC).  In addition to her GWS HERC responsibilities, she provides support to units seeking to diversify their faculty applicant pools and minimize the impact of bias in their assessment processes.  Norma also oversees the on-campus work that is conducted on staff recruitment and retention.  Previous to this, she held positions as Director of Admissions at the University of Washington School of Law and as an Assistant Professor of Political Science at California State University, Chico.
